Born in Cosenza, he begins very early to study piano, graduating in Vibo Valentia’s Conservatory.

Initate to tamburello by Checco Pallone, he carries on studying mediterranean and middle-eastern frame drums and percussions (tamburello, tar, turkish bendir, riq, irish bodhran, daf, kanjira, castanets) with Andrea Piccioni, Zohar Fresco, Glen Velez, Dave Boyd and others, combining techniques coming from the italian, carnatic (solkattu), arabic and iranian tradition.

 

 

He takes part to many events and festival in the world going deeper in world music knowledge with a global approach and the aim to develop a uniform musical language.
